Co-Pastor
Nina M. Cooper, Co-Pastor
Co-Pastor Nina M. Cooper (pronounced Ny-na) has served 35 years in ministry with her husband, Bishop David C. Cooper. Together they serve as shepherds of the New Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their vision is to equip, empower, and encourage believers to fulfill their roles as kingdom priests, to impact the lives of their fellow man through effective ministry, and to serve as examples of excellence and compassion in ministry.
Co-Pastor Nina serves in many capacities of influence – as a godly woman, wife, mother, pastor’s wife, co-pastor, and intercessor. Her spiritual mandate is to help people remove the emotional masks that lead to spiritual decline and empower them to embrace the Christ-centered thinking, confessions, behavior, and character that lead to fulfillment of their destiny and release of inheritance in God. Co-Pastor Nina has devoted many years to the development of youth, women, and leaders at the local, regional, and international levels. She is presently finishing her Ph.D. in intercultural communication at the University of New Mexico where she teaches in the Communication & Journalism Department.
As a recipient of God’s unfailing love, Co-Pastor Nina desires to yield to the Potter’s touch and allow Him to make her over into His likeness with ever increasing glory. She continues to be used by God as a catalyst to help other believers experience a life of worship and prayer that is dynamic, powerful, and effective.
